Becoming Catholic

Riverview Catholic Family of Parishes features a combined process for becoming Catholic. OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults) gives you the opportunity to explore Catholic teaching and ritual through conversation, prayer, and study.

Sessions meet weekly from September-May on Thursdays from 6:30PM-8:00 PM in the St. Rose undercroft (2501 Riverside Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45202 – under the church, enter from parking lot side door).

Participants who complete the process are initiated into the Catholic Church during the Easter Vigil Mass with the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion. OCIA is for adults and children over 7 years old.

To register for the OCIA process or for questions about our Catholic faith, please fill out the form below or contact our Director of Catechesis and Evangelization, Fr. Eric Roush.
