The St. Rose Music Society, directed by Dr. Stella O’Neill, is a beacon of sacred music performance in the region, entertaining and inspiring not only parishioners, but individuals from across the tristate region and beyond. Over the past eight years, our Christmas concerts have been blessed with tremendous success. What began as a single concert with less than 150 attendees and 10 musicians in 2015 has grown into multiple concerts with over 200 attendees featuring Cincinnati’s finest professional musicians. Our Christmas concert was recognized by Movers & Makers Magazine in 2019 as one of the Best Large Vocal Ensemble Concerts in Cincinnati.
The mission of the St. Rose Music Society is to uplift, inspire, and bring joy to our community through exceptional performances of sacred music.
With each performance on our series, we seek to enrich and deepen the spiritual lives of our artists and audiences. We rise above the noise to present a musical experience with beauty at its core. Filling the space with outstanding music, we create a spiritual and enriching atmosphere for all our artists and audiences. We share this music with the community, making concerts accessible to all who wish to enjoy them.

About the Ensemble
The Choir of St. Rose Church was founded by music director Trevor Kroeger in 2014 in an effort to actively advance the Catholic Church’s 1300-year-old tradition of cultivating and preserving sacred classical music. Comprised of ten professional singers, this chamber choral ensemble prepares music for Sunday Masses, major liturgical observances, and other special events. The ensemble’s repertoire of sacred choral literature spans nearly six centuries and is anchored in the rich tradition of Roman Catholic choral music. The Choir seeks to enhance the worship experience at St. Rose by providing spiritual inspiration through a high standard of musical leadership.
Membership in the Choir is open to singers with vocal training and choral experience. While auditions for full chorister positions are held each year during the summer months, singers can audition at any time for a position on our Auxiliary Roster, our roster for substitute and supplemental singers.
